It’s estimated that 60,000 Americans have single-sided hearing loss.

For us, our youngest client base has “single-sided hearing loss” and we are here to tell you that there is a solution and it’s one you can be excited about.

Hearing should be easy, no matter which side it’s on.

What kind of treatment is used for Single-Sided hearing loss?

If you are deaf or hard of hearing in one ear, the first thing we must determine is whether or not that ear will benefit from amplification. Meaning, if a hearing aid sends sound to the brain on that side, will the brain clearly understand what’s being said?

If YES - You can wear any of the number of traditional instruments available; they can be rechargeable, Bluetooth capable and even invisible.

If NO - This is where a CROS system comes in. When wearing a Cros system, if someone whispers to you in your bad ear, you will hear it in your good ear. They too can be rechargeable, Bluetooth capable and even invisible.
